Trisha in Aranmanai 2 - wasn’t scary or well executed at all, big let down. Some of my friends felt she looked cuter than usual. Got reminded of the Vadivelu -Satyaraj English kaaran meme ‘Dei athu un athai da’.

VJS in Kadhalum kadanthu pogum - The role was a better fit for an unknown actor. VJS was too big for a mediocre script

Vijay Antony in Salim - The well-written role was half-wasted by VA. Due credit for the performance he could muster, but the movie would have been awesome with a more talented star. VA trying to score was even funny in places.

Sadha in Anniyan - she looked downright ordinary alongside Vikram. Vikram trying to woo her was hard to understand.

Bhagyaraj in Thupparivalan - While it was a welcome change for the ace director, he looked completely out of place in a violent crime drama - that too as a bad guy.

Parvathi and Bruna Abdulla in Billa 2 - aside from being lacklustre, both were no match for Ajith. Bikini shots too were out of place.

Arun pandiyan in Chidambara Rahasiyam - While he looked badass, he was completely out of depth among stalwarts like Visu, Shekhar, Delhi Ganesh and Manorama.

Rajnikanth in Kaalaa - This was weird. It looked like a role that was written for Rajkiran or Prakash raj. Rajni was super-overkill for this poor script.

Reema sen in Aayirathil Oruvan - Yes, she was hot. But the high octane scenes were quite cringe worthy for me. Maybe just me.

STR in Osthe - Peru Osthe velan Heroine peru Neduvaali. Shebbaaaa.

Anandaraj in Pokkiri - It was sad to see him wasted in a small role. Prabhu deva’s re-writing of his death scene was horrible. The original had a more creative scene written by Puri.
