The curious Case of JNU, Kanhaiya Kumar and Anti-Nationalism

Facts :

1. Kanhaiya Kumar has been arrested with sedition charges for raising Anti-national slogans 2. The judgement/bail plea was rejected by the Supreme court. (well they have to. If they dont,then every other convict or suspect will move directly to the SC for a bail, which is stupid) 3. The Govt is fine to discuss this in the Lok Sabha. (Ya, like there is a lot being done in the LOk Sabha) 4. There has been rumours about the videos leaked being fake. They are yet to be reviewed by any agency of repute. No one from the students have denied their involvement in these slogans. 5. Violence in Court Campus, Kanhaiya Kumar attacked. Police to investigate on violence in court premises.(yes this would be the first time violence has ever happened in an Indian court. *Slow clap*) 6. In an hour long Debate with Arnab Goswami, Neither Lenin nor Omar Khalid explicitly distanced themselves from the Slogans by ‘students’/the banner/the flyer/the views on Afzal Guru’s Death penalty 7. Afzal Guru was a convicted terrorist. His guilt was confirmed beyond doubt and he himself confessed to it. Among the best of the best in India were put in his case. His bail plea was rejected by the president. If there is any doubt in his guilt or Trial, there needs to be something concrete. 8. Anti-National is a big accusation, whether these students raised slogans against India is yet to be confirmed. – If not confirmed, the BJP and Delhi police have a lot to answer for.

FALSE ALLEGATIONS! BJP-RSS HAVE MOUNTED AN ALL OUT ATTACK ON THE NATION, TARGETING THE LEFT – SITARAM YECHURY(OK. First thing, the left and India are not the same. Secondly there was no support to these guys from you earlier, why this change of heart? facts please.) 5. OXFORD SUPPORTS JNU!!! YAYAYY!!! – Oh yeah. The oxford knows what is going on here. 6. KASHMIR VALLEY SUPPORT JNU. KASHMIR VALLEY FTW BRO!!! – OK. The Kashmir valley is a large place. Even in elections, the Kashmir Valley entirely hasnt voted. This is a bunch of ‘youth’ who have said ‘Thank you JNU’. 7. A BOOK ON GEORGE REDDY. SNIFF!! #WEMISSGEORGE #VEMULAJUSTLIKEGEORGE #KANHAIYAJUSTLIKEGEORGE – Seriously? FREEDOM OF SPEECH SHOULD NOT BE HINDERED – By many, but especially KEJRI – All those who have raised this idea have openly the criticized the govt and are doing fairly well. Kejri even called the PM a Psycopath. Have we forgotten what freedom of Speech is?

(why? because we ‘possibly’ hanged a muslim who could have been innocent.I am talking about Afzal Guru. Surprised?) 4. Diversion from real things like Poverty, Famer suicides, Govt’s performance and Pro Kabaddi league.

To all those watching this circus, please try to read between the lines for the facts. It is up to you, but dont get lazy in your research. Laziness doesnt pay.

To all those supporting or taking sides, The case is still is court, if the verdict proves that these guys are gulity or not guilty, WTF will you do?

BJP Bakths – There is no point taking BJP’s side if violence is how the ruling party is going to react. (If the people who are attacking this dude here are from the RSS or BJP)

Kanhaiya supporters – So what is your point here? Apart from opposing the govt, are you saying opinions on Kashmir and Afzal Guru hanging should be allowed? These guys are fighting for Freedom of Kashmir, have you thought of Implications of granting freedom to Kashmir or revisiting the Azfal Guru case? Not a fun fact : Pakistan will immediately occupy the new ‘Independent State’. What do you think they will do next?
